About David Lesako
I love capturing the landscape in all seasons and conditions. I see my artworks as documents of time and place. When working en plein air, I prefer pastels so I can work quickly and capture a scene as the light changes.
In the studio, I paint with watercolors and oils, working from my own landscape photos taken driving around the county. I’m inspired by the light on fields, by beautiful old buildings, by expressive trees, trying to depict scenes before they are gone. - David Lesako
